Upcoming Visit of the Relics of Saint Bernadette

The relics of Saint Bernadette Soubirous are scheduled to visit two locations in the coming days:

Sacred Heart, Cicero – Saturday, October 24

  • 1:30 PM: Public Veneration
  • 2:30 PM: Rosary Procession
  • 3:30 PM: Public Veneration
  • 5:15 PM: Vigil Mass
  • 6:15 PM: Public Veneration
  • 6:45 PM: Litany of Loreto
  • 7:00 PM: Relics Depart

Saint Mary of the Assumption Parish & Shrine, Oswego – October 24–25

Saturday, October 24

  • 8:30 PM: Litany of Loreto & Compline of the Feast, followed by veneration until 10:00 PM.

Sunday, October 25

  • 7:00 AM: Church opens for veneration
  • 9:00 AM: Low Mass
  • 11:00 AM: High Mass (featuring the Missa Brevis of Mariano Garau) & Benediction.

A plenary indulgence is available for those attending Mass at Saint Mary’s on this day.

Bishop Cunningham Council 10904 Strengthens Commitment to Seminarians

We are proud to share that Bishop Cunningham Council 10904 is continuing its support of vocations through the RSVP. Financial Secretary Matthew Thelen recently confirmed that our council will provide financial support to three dedicated seminarians this year. We are honored to contribute $1,000 to each of the following individuals as they continue their path to the priesthood:

  • Mr. Carlos Gonzalez, Jr.
  • Mr. Alex Van Tassel
